A Welcome Letter From Our President
Welcome to the Phi Eta Omega Chapter website!
It is my pleasure to bring you greetings on behalf of the
talented trailblazing women of the Phi Eta Omega Chapter of
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, serving
Scotch Plains, New Jersey and greater Union County for over
16 years. Our chapter is devoted to meeting the needs of our
society with a high level of commitment and focus on the
challenges facing the communities of which we serve.
The Phi Eta Omega Chapter was chartered on June 6, 1999 by
a group of visionary women who were dedicated to our beloved
Sorority’s purpose of “Service to All Mankind” -- a purpose
established by our Founders’ in 1908 on the campus of
As we embark on our 110th year of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated® we remember and celebrate the legacy of our
sisterhood, building on our commitment to service and scholarship.
Through our international program, Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service, we will further our goals of initiating activities and projects with a focus on the Sorority’s five Program Target platforms:
